AETIN Mission to Vietnam early 2013: fruitful results from collective meetings

A delegation of Dutch companies has paid visit to Vietnam as part of a mission of the AETIN (Advanced Energy Technology International) consortium from 28 February to 8 March 2013.

The delegation includes 11 Dutch companies, who had collective visits in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Vung Tau City and met with Vietnamese and international companies and authorities to explore business opportunities.

During the mission, AETIN delegation had met and discussed with the board and the related departments of Vietnamese companies and the leading oil and gas units of Vietnam such as: PVN, VPI, PVU, Petrolimex, PVC in Hanoi; PVC MS (subsidiary of PVC in Vung Tau), Vietsovpetro (the biggest oil and gas company in Vietnam), PTSC M&C, Nam Con Son Pipelines, PVID in Vung Tau City; and PV EIC, Technip, Vopak, PVE, PV Gas, PTSC, PV Oil, PVC-PT in Hochiminh City.

Members of the delegation also show their satisfaction with the results of the collective meetings and look forward to successful cooperation in near future.

An oi and gas networking dinner was organized in Hanoi on 28 February at the Ambassador’s residence to welcome Dutch and Vienamese companies from the event. In Hochiminh City, the companies joined the Holland Pavilion and the networking reception at the International Maritime Exhibition (INMEX Vietnam) on 6 March. The Netherlands Consulate-General hosted a buffet dinner on the same day on the occasion of the visit of AETIN trade mission and Holland Marine Equipment members to Vietnam.

AETIN mission at INMEX

The working visit was a great success with the warm welcome from the Vietnam oil and gas partners, the two sides have had effective and open meetings with each other. AETIN believe in the possibility of cooperation between his members and the Vietnam Oil and Gas units for the upcoming projects.
